Many swing bearings (SKF) connecting the individual chain links in Ferag conveyors (with UTR, LAT, ZF clamps) tent to wear after years of usage. After Teflon gets out of the bearing direct contact between metal and metal happens.  As a result the whole chain developed play. The slackness of each link adds up over the length of the chain and creates different problems during production.  

Instead of replacing the whole chain there is a much cheaper and better way for refurbishing this parts now (see photo).
