Is there any standards/measuring techinques available for Silicon application in heat set printing
This is a good question. I dont have an immediate aswer but will check with other experts.
I heard from a real ink expert that layer thickness measurement is not used in heatset. The consumption is measured gravimetrically.
There are methods to determine very thin layers, but those are not used in the heatset environment.
